Welcome To Invicta Artistic Roller Skating Club - based in Faversham and Westgate on Sea, Kent.

The Saturday 4.30 to 6.00 sessions at Abbey for the next few weeks will be as follows:-

Saturday 26th May - League Competition

 Keith's saturday session 1-2 normally at QE has now been moved to the Abbey at 2-3 for this week.

Designed to help improve balance, posture and skating techniques.

The use of workshop techniques to improve spins.

Congratulations to the five skaters who competed at the British Championships in Peterborough on 21st/22nd April - they all skated so well and... we have a new British Champion! See results page for further details.

Fitness Training

The next fitness training session is on Tuesday 15th May from 6 - 7pm at the Abbey School now in the sports hall. Please note, this session is for all ages and abilities and is designed to enhance general fitness so is not restricted to just skaters - cost is only £1.

Congratulations to all our skaters who competed at the FARS Spring Solo dance competition at Haywards Heath on 24th and 25th March 2012 - see the News and Results page of website. 

We run "Learn to Skate" sessions on a Wednesday evening from 6 - 7pm and Sundays 11.30 - 12.30pm at the Ursuline Sports College, Westgate. For those members who want to improve their skating skills, you are welcome to attend these sessions on a larger floor. If you require skate hire, please let either Keith or Simon know on the preceding Saturday so that we can arrange to bring the correct skates along with us.

Current active membership is well in excess of 180 skaters and the club sessions in Faversham on Friday and Saturday are very well attended - we have limited skates for hire but are happy for skaters to bring their own. Alternatively, speak to Keith at any session to discuss outright purchase of new or second hand skates or long term hire.

SKATES AND EQUIPMENT

Anyone looking for second hand skates should speak to Keith at club sessions. If you are looking to buy new skates, then please check out the best skates on www.skatermate.co.uk or speak to Keith at any club session. If you cannot afford to buy skates, then why not have your own pair of brand new skates on long term hire. Long term hire costs £20 deposit and £16 per month and all skates are brand new. Speak to Keith at any of the sessions for further details.
