Invicta Artistic Roller Skating Club

Hello to all of our skaters - we hope you are all well and keeping safe!
We know you are all keen to get back to skating, so here's an update:

Training Sessions:
Regular training sessions will not start until September at the earliest. We are now on our usual summer break, during which time we will be working out how to re-open training sessions safely following guidance from FARS.
We will update you as soon as we have more information on re-starting regular training sessions.

Outdoor skating
We know what many of you are keen to keep up your fitness and practice outdoors. We have had reports that Betteshanger Country Park (near Deal) is a good place to skate, as it is traffic free (just open to cyclists, skaters etc).
If you do want to skate outdoors, please remember:
1)Tarmac is hard and it hurts if you fall, please wear appropriate protection if required and take care on uneven surfaces.
2)Do not use your indoor Artistic wheels for outdoor skating, they will be ruined. You can use your Artistic boots but you will need outdoor wheels. If you wish to purchase outdoor wheels, please email [email protected]
3) Remember to maintain social distancing and wash your hands frequently!

Club sessions are for all the family - from complete beginner upwards. No need to book - just turn up.

Abbey Sports Centre, Faversham
FRIDAYS: 6.30 to 7.30 & SATURDAYS: 3.00 to 4.00

Ursuline College, Westgate-on-Sea
SUNDAYS: 10.00 to 11.00 & WEDNESDAYS: 6.00 to 7.00

COSTS
Session cost is £3 (£4 for non-members)
Skate hire £2
First session is FREE!

Membership costs £5 per year
